Kajol's Candid Question To Shah Rukh Khan About 'Pathaan' Box Office Figures: Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan, two legendary actors of Bollywood, have had a remarkable onscreen partnership spanning over three decades. Starting with their debut film 'Baazigar' 30 years ago and culminating with their last release 'Dilwale' in 2015, the duo has captivated audiences with their chemistry in a total of seven movies.

However, a recent interview has sparked curiosity about the state of their friendship. In a viral video clip, Kajol is seen teasingly asking Shah Rukh about the box office success of his latest blockbuster 'Pathaan'.

Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan are renowned as one of Bollywood's iconic pairs. However, Kajol has stirred up some controversy with her light-hearted remark about wanting to know the "actual" box office earnings of 'Pathaan', their latest film together.

Kajol's playful inquiry has triggered a response from fans, raising questions about the current state of her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan. Some fans empathise with Kajol's curiosity, highlighting the distinction between a film's projected earnings and its actual box office collection. Others humorously suggest that she should approach her brother-in-law, Aditya Chopra, who heads Yash Raj Films and produced 'Pathaan', for the accurate box office figures.

In an old interview with Hindustan Times, Kajol had shared her sentiments about her long-standing collaboration with Shah Rukh. She emphasised that their friendship evolved from their first film together and has endured throughout the years.

Revealing that their working relationship has maintained a perfect balance, with enough spacing between films to avoid any conflicts, she expressed her eagerness to continue this journey of friendship and hoped for more collaborations in the future.

Speaking of 'Pathaan', according to reports, the spy thriller amassed a staggering Rs 665 crore in India. Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham joined forces for the very first time in this film. Written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, this movie marks the fourth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe.

It also served as Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film following 'Zero' in 2018. 'Pathaan' had its theatrical release on January 25, 2023, and was simultaneously released in dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu.
