Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut finally broke her silence after Karan Johar extended his support to her upcoming movie ‘Emergency’. This came after the filmmaker admitted that he is excited for Kangana’s ‘Emergency’. Soon after the statement went viral on social media, the Queen star took to her X account and hinted towards a ‘smear campaign’.

She tweeted, “Ha ha last time when he said he was excited to see 'Manikarnika', the worst smear campaign of my life was unleashed upon me on its releasing weekend … Almost all the main actors working in the film were paid to sling mud on me and sabotage the film and suddenly the most successful weekend of my life turned into a living nightmare for me… Ha ha I am scared now, very scared … because he is excited again.”

Kangana Ranaut And Karan Johar Feud

In interviews and on social media, the two have exchanged critical remarks against each other. It all started when Kangana criticized Karan for nepotism in season five of Koffee With Karan (KWK). Being renowned for her direct remarks, Kangana made fun of the KWK anchor by branding him a "flagbearer of nepotism."

“In my biopic, if ever it's made, you'll play that stereotypical Bollywood biggie, who is like you know, very snooty and completely intolerant towards outsiders, flag-bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia,” she said on Koffee With Karan.
