Kanguva Box Office Collection Day 8: Suriya and Bobby Deol starrer Tamil movie has been following a downward trend. The action fantasy drama had a strong first-weekend collection. Since the film entered its weekdays the numbers started falling which seems trouble for the movie to enter the Rs 100 crore club. As for now, there is no hope for the movie to overcome the loss. It was released in theatres on November 14 and collected Rs 24 crore on its opening day. But since then, the movie never gained such box office numbers yet.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 2.00 crore on Day 8. The net collection of Kanguva stands at Rs 64.40 crore. It had an overall 12.91 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres. The movie had 9.96 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 15.14 per cent in the afternoon shows, 10.40 per cent in the evening shows and 16.13 per cent in the night shows. On the same day, it had 6.63 per cent Hindi occupancy and 12.29 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres.

If reports are to be believed, director Siva made this movie on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. The movie has been backed by KE Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati.

About Kanguva

The movie revolves around a tribal warrior who saves his people from the evildoers a millennium ago. His story is then linked to a shadow cop's perilous quest in the present times. Kanguva stars Suriya Sivakumar, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Aarash Shah, Karthik Sivakumar, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam and Kovai Sarala in key roles. Kanguva marks the Tamil debut of Bobby Deol and Disha Patani.
