Kannappa: Prabhas already stepped into the mythological genre with his most recent movie, Kalki 2898 AD. The actor is now gearing up to impress the audience yet again with a similar genre! Vishnu Manchu's Telugu movie Kannappa features Prabhas as Lord Shiva's worshipper Rudra

The first look of Prabhas's character, Rudra was unveiled on social media platforms. The caption read, "ॐ The Divine Guardian ‘𝐑𝐮𝐝𝐫𝐚’ ॐ Unveiling my look as ‘Rudra’. The embodiment of strength and wisdom as the unwavering protector in #Kannappa. A timeless journey of devotion, sacrifice, and love. Join us on this epic adventure, coming to theaters on April 25, 2025!"

Prabhas portrayed a strong yet deeply ingrained character while posing as a hermit in simple yet roughly woven garb. Along with rudraksha mala on his arm and neck, he was seen giving up a basic wooden spear for the same.

With hair set in one direction and chandan smeared on his forehead, Prabhas' fans were greatly delighted by his appearance. The first images of Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal, who would play Lord Shiva and Devi Parvathi in the Vishnu Manchu movie, were released before Prabhas.

About Telugu Movie Kannappa

For the uninitiated, Kannappa's plot is a historical epic, which revered homage to Indian cultural history. The Telugu movie, which is scheduled for release on April 25, tells the tale of an atheist hunter named Kannappa (played by Vishnu Manchu), who becomes a follower of Lord Shiva. His unwavering love and devotion to Shiva is grandly re-told in the movie.

Vishnu Manchu, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav and Devaraj star in the much-awaited movie. Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal will make cameo appearances in Kannappa.
