Kim Soo Hyun, the beloved star of 'Queen of Tears,' is currently facing intense public scrutiny following allegations linked to a dating controversy involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron. As the controversy gains traction, brands associated with the actor have begun distancing themselves, leading to his advertisements disappearing from social media and websites.

The situation escalated after the YouTube channel Ga Se Yeon released videos claiming that Kim Soo Hyun had dated Kim Sae Ron when she was only 15. The allegations further suggested that the actor later cut ties with her following her involvement in a drunk-driving incident. These claims were reportedly supported by Kim Sae Ron’s aunt, fueling a public backlash.

In response, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, GOLDMEDALIST, has firmly denied the accusations, labelling them as "clearly false facts." The agency also announced plans to pursue strong legal action to prevent the spread of misleading information.

However, the backlash has already affected Kim Soo Hyun’s professional endorsements. According to reports from OSEN, Aekyung Group recently made a 2015 Jeju Air advertisement featuring the actor private. Additionally, brands like K2, Shabu All Day and Homeplus have removed his promotional content from their websites, social media, and apps.

Cosmetics brand Dinto also issued a statement confirming that all upcoming events and campaigns involving Kim Soo Hyun have been put on hold. A spokesperson from the company mentioned, "For now, I will trust and wait," indicating that they are closely observing the situation before making any long-term decisions.
