Kim Soo Hyun’s upcoming fan meeting in Taiwan has been cancelled, but the explanations from his agency and the event organizers don’t seem to align. On March 25, his agency, Gold Medalist, released a statement citing safety concerns as the reason for postponing his scheduled appearance. They stated, "Kim Soo Hyun’s Taiwanese brand event schedule has been postponed for safety reasons."

However, Taiwan’s 7-Eleven, the event organizer, shared a different explanation. They posted on Facebook, explaining that the March 30 event was cancelled due to a schedule change. They further announced that fans who had redeemed points to attend the event would receive a full refund, apologizing for the inconvenience.

The event was expected to mark Kim Soo Hyun’s first public appearance following recent controversies. Reports mentioned that around 50 police officers were planned to be deployed to ensure safety.

This comes amid allegations surrounding Kim Soo Hyun’s past relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron. The scandal has stirred significant public attention, with various statements emerging from both sides. Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron’s husband also spoke out through the Garosero Research Institute, adding more layers to the ongoing situation.
