Diljit Dosanjh is making waves with his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 in India. However, the singer was at the centre of controversy during his Indore tour when the Bajrang Dal attempted to cancel his event on the grounds that he had made 'anti-national remarks' during the farmers' protest and was endorsing Khalistan. Just one day before the event, Bajrang Dal protested against the concert after it was revealed that meat and drink would be served.

During his performance, Diljit Dosanjh referred to the renowned poet Rahat Indori in an attempt to subtly address the protests. He cited Indori's well-known ghazal, "Agar khilaaf hain hone do, Jaan thodi hai. Ye sab dhua hai asmaan thodi hai. Sabhi ka khoon hai shaamil yahan ki mitti mein, Kisi ke baap ka Hindustan thodi hai."
