Kritika Kamra Once Said She Was Glad Ex-Boyfriend Karan Kundrra Didn't Propose

Kritika Kamra and host Gaurav Kapur tied the knot on March 11, 2026. The couple opted for a modest registered marriage, which was followed by a quick traditional puja at home, rather than a lavish wedding full of intricate rites. Only close family members and a few close friends attended the intimate celebration, which took place at their Bandra, Mumbai, home. However, Kritika Kamra had been romantically involved with actor Karan Kundra for a number of years before to finding her forever with Gaurav Kapur. Not many people are aware that they dated for two years, but he never popped the question.

Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundra's relationshi started in 2009 while they were collaborating on the hit television show Kitni Mohabbat Hai. Their chemistry on screen soon gained popularity among viewers.

Kritika disclosed that Karan never asked her to marry him in an interview with The Times of India. She added that even though they were emotionally connected, Karan never proposed, and it was terrible that they couldn't handle it.

Kritika Kamra went on to say that during their time together, they never made plans for their future or made the decision to tie the knot. Speaking on their split, Kritika said that they had never even talked about whether or not they were splitting up.

Kritika Kamra said, "It is really sad that we couldn’t take care of our relationship. There was an emotional attachment, we were together 24/7, but he never proposed to me and I am glad he didn’t. We never planned life, getting married in five years or anything of that sort. There were no talks of a breakup either. It was never like… 'Oh, it is over'. Today, we still have a comfort level and we can talk about anything. If there is anything new we do, any advice one of us needs, we call each other first."

Despite this encounter,  Kritika never criticised Karan or held him responsible for their breakup. She insisted that their breakup didn't end with a heated argument or dramatic breakdown. It is important to note that Kritika and Karan continued to be friends after their breakup. The two wish each other well and follow each other on social media. But even though they had a past together, the two never truly disparaged or disparaged their previous relationship.
