L2 Empuraan Worldwide Box Office Collection: Prithviraj Sukumaran's third directorial venture, L2 Empuraan, starring the iconic Mohanlal, is unstoppable at the box office, despite being embroiled in controversy. L2 Empuraan is a fictional narrative centered around the 2002 Gujarat riots, presented through a cinematic lens. The film is a collaborative production effort by Antony Perumbavoor, Subaskaran Allirajah and Gokulam Gopalan under the banners of Aashirvad Cinemas, Lyca Productions, and Sree Gokulam Movies. Notably, L2 Empuraan serves as the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2019 film Lucifer, while also marking the second installment in the highly anticipated Lucifer trilogy.

The film has achieved a remarkable feat, grossing Rs 200 crore worldwide since its release on March 27, according to Sacnilk. This impressive collection has brought it close to surpassing the lifetime collection of Manjummel Boys. The film's worldwide collection has been steadily rising, with ₹138 crore grossed globally, comprising R 59 crore from India and Rs 79 crore from overseas markets.
