Ask the Stars is generating significant buzz with its unique blend of romance and science fiction. Starring Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin, this highly anticipated drama is set to premiere soon. Ask the Stars is expected to hit screens in late 2024 or early 2025. It will air on tvN every Saturday and Sunday. Although a global release date has not been confirmed yet, the drama's filming began in 2022. The production of Ask the Stars has been a grand endeavour, with a budget reportedly reaching 50 billion KRW, approximately 40.7 million USD. This significant investment underscores the high expectations and excitement surrounding the show.

Cast 

Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin headline this Kdrama.

Lee Min Ho: Known for his roles in Boys Over Flowers, The Legend of the Blue Sea, and The King: Eternal Monarch, Lee Min Ho returns to the small screen as Gong Ryong, a South Korean obstetrician-gynecologist who ventures into space seeking adventure.

Gong Hyo Jin: Renowned for her performances in It's Okay, That's Love and When the Camellia Blooms, Gong Hyo Jin plays Eve Kim, a Korean-American astronaut whose path crosses with Lee Min Ho's character.

Supporting roles will be filled by Han Ji Eun, Oh Jung Se, and Kim Joo Heon, adding depth to the drama.

Writer: Seo Sook Hyang, known for hits like Wok of Love and Don't Dare to Dream, penned the script for Ask the Stars.

Director: Park Shin Woo, celebrated for his work on It's Okay to Not Be Okay and Lovestruck in the City, is directing the series.

Plot

Ask the Stars tells the story of Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a successful OB/GYN who decides to become a space tourist. His journey, initially driven by a quest for adventure, takes an unexpected turn when he meets Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), a Korean-American astronaut. As they navigate the challenges and wonders of space, their connection deepens, leading to a romance that blossoms amid the stars.
