IMDb, a globally acclaimed movie database and entertainment platform, curates a fascinating list or widget showcasing the hottest and most eagerly awaited Indian films and shows. This list encompasses both theatrical releases and content premiering on various OTT platforms. The rankings are derived from real-time data, specifically the volume of pageviews these titles receive on IMDb. Each title is then meticulously positioned in accordance with its cumulative pageview count, unveiling a dynamic snapshot of their current popularity within the IMDb community.

Securing the coveted top position on IMDb's rankings is the action-packed thriller film 'Leo,' directed by Lokesh Kanagraj and featuring Vijay and Trisha as its lead stars. Interestingly, this week's list witnessed a notable absence, as 'Salaar' no longer appears in the top ten, likely due to its postponement.

The second spot has been occupied by Skanda, which is all set to hit the theatres on September 28. Skanda, also presented onscreen as 'The Attacker,' is an upcoming action-packed Telugu-language drama film from India. It is skillfully written and directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced through the joint efforts of Srinivasaa Chitturi's Srinivasa Silver Screen and Zee Studios. The movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela, Saiee Manjrekar, and Prince Cecil.

On the third spot, it is Chandramukhi 2, starring Kangana Ranaut in the role of a dancer in a king’s court. The movie also stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. The Tamil-language comedy horror film has been written and directed by P. Vasu, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner of Lyca Productions.

In a rather intriguing turn of events, the IMDb top 10 list showcases a notable absence of any Indian OTT titles, despite their prominence in the digital entertainment realm. It appears that theatrical releases have once again asserted their dominance, eclipsing the presence of OTT content within IMDb's current rankings.
