Dulquer Salmaan, the versatile actor known for his impactful performances, is all set to enthral audiences with his upcoming film Lucky Baskhar. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film marks Dulquer's third venture in Telugu cinema, promising a captivating story that is bound to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
The recently released teaser of Lucky Baskhar" gives us a sneak peek into the life of Baskhar, played by Dulquer Salmaan, a banker at the fictional Magadha Bank. The teaser portrays Baskhar as a common, middle-class Indian man, tired of the daily grind of life - waking up, getting dressed, and navigating through traffic to reach work, only to find himself nodding off at his desk.
However, Baskhar's life takes a thrilling turn when he unexpectedly comes into a significant amount of money, leaving everyone around him baffled about his sudden fortune. The teaser also introduces Meenaakshi Chaudhary as the love interest in Baskhar's life, adding a romantic angle to the storyline.
What makes Lucky Baskhar even more intriguing is its setting in a different time period, evident from the meticulously designed costumes and art direction. The teaser hints at a gripping narrative that delves into the complexities of human nature and the pursuit of wealth and success.
Earlier this year, Dulquer Salmaan had shared the first look from the film, which further piqued the curiosity of fans. Dressed in formal attire with spectacles, Dulquer's character is seen surrounded by stacks of ₹100 notes, hinting at the financial backdrop of the film.
Produced by Sithara Entertainment in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas, Lucky Baskhar is set to be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi, catering to a wide audience base across the country in July 2024.
