Marco On OTT: Unni Mukundan's action-packed thriller Marco, directed by Haneef Adeni, continues to dominate the box office with its gripping storyline and intense visuals. However, recent rumors about the film's OTT release have sparked widespread speculation. To address the situation, the film’s producer, Shareef Muhammed, issued a statement dismissing these claims.  

As per reports by Kerala Kaumudi and Filmibeat, Shareef Muhammed clarified that no agreements or deals have been signed with any OTT platforms for the release of Marco. He emphasized, “Let us clarify that as of now, we have not signed any agreements or confirmed any deals with any OTT platforms. Any claims or news stating otherwise are entirely fake and misleading.”  

The producer further urged audiences to enjoy Marco as a cinematic experience in theaters. “The movie is still running successfully on the big screen, and we strongly encourage you to watch it in theaters to experience the intensity, visuals, and sound design the way it was meant to be experienced,” the statement added.

Released on December 20, 2024, Marco has been a massive success, becoming the first Malayalam ‘A’ rated film to enter the Rs 100 crore club. The film, a spin-off of the 2019 movie Mikhael, features Unni Mukundan as Marco D’Peter, a man seeking justice after a brutal attack on his family.  

The ensemble cast includes Jagadish, Siddique, Yukti Thareja and Kabir Duhan Singh, with music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj. Available in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, the film has received immense love from audiences.  

The production team assured fans that any updates regarding the film's digital release would be shared through verified channels. Until then, they urged everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information. Marco continues its successful theatrical run, drawing packed audiences across all regions. The movie makers have urged the audiences to catch the film on the big screen for now.
