Mathu Vadalara 2 On OTT: The Telugu-language crime comedy directed by Ritesh Rana sees the return of Sri Simha Koduri, Satya and Vennela Kishore in their original roles, with Faria Abdullah and Sunil joining the cast. Produced by Clap Entertainment and Mythri Movie Makers, the film features a soundtrack by Kaala Bhairava. Mathu Vadalara 2 is a sequel to the successful 2019 film Mathu Vadalara, which followed the misadventures of two delivery agents, Babu and Yesu. In the first film, their attempts to make quick money through illegal activities lead to a series of chaotic and humorous situations. The sequel picks up after these events, illustrating how the characters have evolved from delivery agents to special agents. However, they quickly encounter new challenges that test their newfound responsibilities, resulting in even more comedic escapades. Fans can watch Mathu Vadalara 2 on Netflix on October 11, 2024.
Mathu Vadalara 2: Cast
Sri Simha Koduri portrays Babu Mohan, while Satya plays Yesudasu, known as Yesu. Vennela Kishore takes on the role of "Youth Star" Yuva/Ravi Teja, and Sunil appears as Michael. Faria Abdullah plays Nidhi, with Rohini as Deepa, the Head of the High Emergency Team (H.E. Team). Ajay portrays Aakash/Tejaswi Thota, while Raja Chembolu plays Saxena. Jhansi appears as the fake Dhamini, and the cast also includes Srinivasa Reddy, Gundu Sudarshan, and Satya Krishnan as the real Dhamini.
Plot
The film opens with Tejaswi Thota, a cameraman who, after being rejected by his crush, turns to voyeurism and blackmails women. During the previous film's events, he continues this scheme with spy cameras supplied by his watchman. Meanwhile, Babu and Yesu lose their jobs and apply to the High Emergency Team (H.E. Team), bribing their way in after failing training. On Yesu's birthday, they visit Karma Hub & Lounge and encounter the actor "Youth Star" Yuva, whom Babu recognizes. They discover a drug deal happening and report it.
Later, they are assigned a case by district magistrate Dhaamini, whose daughter Riya has been kidnapped, demanding a ₹2 crore ransom. They decide to steal money to help. After a series of misadventures, they find themselves implicated in a murder, leading to a shocking twist involving Riya’s body in their car. The duo escapes and aims to confront the original kidnapper.
