Matka Box Office Collection Day 2: Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary starrer Telugu movie has been failing to create an impact at the ticket windows. The film opened with low numbers and has been maintaining a slow pace. The period action drama was released in theatres on November 14 and had a box-office clash with Kanguva and The Sabarmati Report. If the movie maintains its slow momentum then it will be a huge box office failure. Let's hope, Matka will do wonders in the coming days and showcase some growth.
Matka Box Office Collection Day 2
As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.70 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Matka stands at Rs 1.41 crore. It had an overall 14.56 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres. The movie had 11.44 per cent in the morning shows, 16.56 per cent in the afternoon shows, 13.66 per cent in the evening shows and 16.56 per cent in night shows.
Matka Budget
As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 35 crore. The film has been directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Talluri.
About Matka
The movie is set between the timeline of 1958 and 1982. It is based on the Matka gambling scams that rocked the country in the 20th century. The movie features Varun Tej, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, Saloni Aswani, Kishore Kumar G, Ajay Ghosh, Mime Gopi and P. Ravi Shankar in key roles.
