Jaya Bachchan, recognised for her assertiveness in guiding paparazzi conduct at Bollywood events, was observed reprimanding photographers during the premiere of her grandson Agastaya Nanda's film, The Archies. She emphatically urged them not to shout her name and to maintain decorum. Also, during premiere of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' in Mumbai, Jaya was captured on camera expressing her displeasure towards photographers who were loudly calling her name.
Dressed in a stunning red ethnic attire, the seasoned actress exuded elegance as she attended the event. Opting to bypass the red carpet, she patiently awaited her children's arrival. However, when the paparazzi began calling out her name and urging her to pose, Jaya promptly intervened, visibly irritated by their persistent shouting. Assertively, she instructed them, "I am not deaf. Don’t shout, speak softly."
Why Jaya Bachchan hates paps?
On Koffee With Karan, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan unveiled the reasons behind Jaya's apparent rudeness towards paparazzi. Shweta disclosed, "she (Jaya) gets very claustrophobic when there are too many people around her. She also doesn't like it when people take her pictures without asking her. She comes from that school of thought." Abhishek shared that he indulges in watching videos of Jaya being photographed by paparazzi, considering it his guilty pleasure. He also mentioned that their entire family hopes to avoid encountering paparazzi when they go out for outings.
