What Is Homebound All About?

The film is about two childhood friends from a small village in North India, who have a dream to become police officers. Being from a marginalised society, they hope to get the respect they never received in life. As their goal came closer, their friendship faced turmoil. Homebound features Ishaan Khatter as Mohammed Shoaib Ali, Vishal Jethwa as Chandan Kumar, Janhvi Kapoor as Sudha Bharti, Reem Shaikh, Harshika Parmar as Vaishali, Shalini Vatsa as Phool, Chandan K Anand as Haroon Nawaz, Yogendra Vikram Singh as Arjun Mishra, Shreedhar Dubey as Vikas Tripathi. Homebound has been directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and backed by Dharma Productions. The film is based on A Friendship, a Pandemic and a Death Beside the Highway by Basharat Peer.
