It delved into the aftermath of the Battle of the Gullet, following a shocking premiere that featured a key death and a catastrophic battle.

House of the Dragon Season 3 episode 2 devoted a significant amount of time to the aftermath of the Battle of the Gullet. Aemond Targaryen's (Ewan Mitchell) attack on Harrenhal and the Fall of King's Landing, where Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) ultimately took the Iron Throne, were two significant set pieces in the newly released episode.
