Movies Releasing Today (January 10, 2025): This week, a wide variety of stories will light up the silver screen. The popular Bollywood romance Kaho Naa is being rereleased this week, along with Shankar's social drama Game Changer and Sonu Sood's directorial debut, Fateh. The gothic horror Nosferatu, the heist thriller sequel Den of Thieves 2: Pantera and the period action drama Daaku Maharaaj will also amuse moviegoers today.

Whether you're in the mood for an old-school romance, an adrenaline thrill, or an emotional drama, these movies have you covered.

Game Changer

With great anticipation, Ram Charan's eagerly anticipated film Game Changer debuted in theatres worldwide today. The governments of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka allowed early morning performances in several theatres.

The movie is about politics, and corruption is a big part of it. It narrates the tale of an upright and resolute IAS officer who chooses the morally upright course of combating systemic corruption.

Ram Charan will play two parts: his father, Appanna, and an IAS officer named Ram Nandan. Along with a stellar ensemble that includes Anjali, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, and several others, Kiara Advani plays Ram's love interest in the movie. We will see SJ Suryah in the role of the primary antagonist.

Fateh

Sonu Sood's compelling social justice thriller, Fateh, is now available in theatres. The film, which is Sood's first feature, tells the story of a man's quest to overthrow a strong syndicate while tackling the current issues of loan scams and the cyber mafia.

A former army man named Sood plays Fateh, who has moved on from his tumultuous past to live a tranquil life in Punjab. However, Fateh is called back into action and uses his abilities to fight the cyber mafia and bring justice after a young girl in Delhi is the victim of cybercrime and goes missing. In the movie, Jacqueline Fernandez plays a hacker who accompanies Fateh on his mission, giving the battle against digital exploitation a technologically advanced edge. Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah, forming a potent ensemble cast.

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera

Christian Gudegast's eagerly awaited Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, the follow-up to the 2018 heist thriller, takes its thrilling action to the big screen. Big Nick, the tenacious investigator who now finds himself at the centre of the European diamond trade, is played by Gerard Butler once more. Meadow Williams and O'Shea Jackson Jr. both make a comeback, continuing the storylines of their roles from the first movie.

The plot delves into the high-stakes world of diamond thieves and the notorious Panther mafia, and it is set in Marseilles' thriving diamond district. Donnie, who is involved in a risky scheme to conduct a huge theft at the biggest diamond exchange in the world, is being pursued by Big Nick. The film depicts the tense and unpredictable nature of this criminal underground, drawing inspiration from the 2003 Antwerp diamond theft.

Nosferatu

Nosferatu, a new and eerie adaptation of the iconic silent horror movie from 1922, hits theatres. Nosferatu is a gothic horror film directed by Robert Eggers, who is renowned for his intensely atmospheric films such as The Lighthouse (2019) and The Witch (2015). It follows a young woman whose life becomes intertwined with a strange and terrifying vampire. Everyone in their vicinity is drawn into its shadow as their sinister bond deepens and unleashes mayhem and terror in its aftermath.

starring Lily-Rose Depp as the young woman enmeshed in Bill Skarsgård's passion and Skarsgård as the evil vampire. Nosferatu blends gothic romance with chilling horror, and movie has an amazing supporting cast that includes Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Emma Corrin.

Daaku Maharaaj

In Daaku Maharaaj, Nandamuri Balakrishna portrays a bold thief who is referred to be a "king without a kingdom." In his 109th film, Balakrishna plays a man who is struggling to establish his domain and make a claim, in addition to merely surviving. Under Bobby Kolli's direction, the historical action drama depicts his struggles against strong adversaries as he valiantly defends himself and fights for his position in a world full of difficulties. aficionados and action aficionados alike should not miss this film because of Balakrishna's charismatic performance.

Additionally, Bobby Deol makes his Telugu film debut in the film, playing the main adversary and twisting the story. Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Ravi Kishan are among the outstanding supporting cast members of Daaku Maharaaj, which blends thrilling action with an interesting plot set against a rich historical setting.

Match Fixing

This political play, which was written by Anuj S. Mehta and directed by Kedaar Gaekwad, is a fictionalized account of actual events. The movie explores how influential groups, like as politicians and security services, worked together to fabricate the story of saffron terrorism in India, which sparked enormous upheaval. Colonel Avinash Patwardhan (Vineet Kumar), a distinguished officer who identifies links between numerous explosions and terrorist assaults throughout India, is at the centre of the narrative. But as he turns into a pawn in a bigger plot involving Pakistan and India's ruling party, his probe takes a dark turn.

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (Re-Release)

This year commemorates 25 years since the release of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, which gave Bollywood a love story that instantly became a classic and launched Hrithik Roshan's acting career. A timeless story of love, heartbreak, and fresh starts, the film was directed by Rakesh Roshan and starred Hrithik and Ameesha Patel in their first roles.

The narrative centres on Rohit (Hrithik Roshan), a singer from a small village with lofty aspirations, and Sonia (Ameesha Patel), a vibrant young lady. Tragically, their passion is cut short when Sonia meets Raj, a self-assured and enigmatic guy who remarkably resembles Rohit.
