Munawar Faruqui was seen making fun of Mannara Chopra during one of his recent Instagram live sessions. The stand-up comedian engaged with his followers via his Instagram handle, responding to Mannara Chopra referring to herself as the 'Bigg Boss 17 winner in the female category.' Salman Khan concluded the seventeenth season of Bigg Boss with Munawar lifting the trophy, Abhishek Kumar and Mannara Chopra secured the positions of first and second runner-ups, respectively.
Following this, Mannara initially added 'Bigg Boss 17 Winner In Female Category' to her Instagram. Without mentioning Mannara, the standup comedian remarked, "Do you all know Aoora? Aoora was the winner in the NRI category. That's all I wanted to say. Naved (Sole), who was the runner-up, was in the NRI category. In the wife category, Ankita (Lokhande) was the winner, and in the husband category, Vicky bhai."

The standout feature of the season was the friendship between Mannara and Munawar. Bigg Boss consistently promoted and encouraged the bond between the two in the show. There were numerous instances where both the Bigg Boss and the hosts highlighted that Mannara was Munawar's true friend, often urging him to take care of her. This dynamic was not only observed by viewers but also remarked upon by fellow housemates, who frequently commented on Muna's role in looking after Mannara.
Shortly before the grand finale of Bigg Boss 17, Munawar made a surprising revelation while speaking to Ankita Lokhande. He claimed that on Diwali night, Mannara kissed him. He mimicked the kissing gesture by placing his hand on his cheeks, suggesting that Mannara kissed him. When Ankita expressed disbelief, Munawar told her that he had never shared this information with anyone before. "I got uncomfortable because I have always maintained a line." Munawar revealed.
