Abhay Verma, the rising star who garnered attention with his blockbuster film Munjya, is rumoured to be part of Shah Rukh Khan's highly anticipated project, King. The film, which will also feature Suhana Khan in the lead, has been creating a buzz among fans. However, Abhay has neither confirmed nor denied his involvement in the project.
In a chat with News18, the young actor shared a cryptic response when asked about his association with King. “I don’t know if it will happen or not. I hope it happens, but nothing is confirmed as yet,” Abhay said. He expressed his excitement about the possibility of working with Shah Rukh Khan, whom he considers his idol.

"People are talking about it, and I feel fortunate to be part of such discussions. Meeting Shah Rukh Khan would be a dream come true for me. I don’t know how I’d react—I might even cry. It would be overwhelming," he admitted. Adding a touch of humor, he said, "I’d be happy even as a mosquito on the wall for him. I’ve imagined this moment for years and I hope it becomes a reality someday."
Despite the speculations surrounding King, Abhay remains focused on his craft. Reflecting on his journey, the actor shared how he hopes to inspire aspiring artists, especially those from small towns like his hometown, Panipat.
“We are in a fortunate time where you don’t have to pretend to be someone else to succeed. I am proud to share my story, and I hope it inspires others. It’s a beautiful feeling to give hope to someone who’s struggling to find their path," he said. Abhay’s grounded attitude and passion for acting have earned him admiration and his fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement about his future projects.
