Nayanthara is one of the most renowned and successful actresses in the South film industry. Enjoying a huge fandom across the nation with her acting skills, the ‘Jawan’ star has set a trend in the South industry of female-centric roles and has delivered several hits. The actress enjoys a net worth of Rs 200 Crore and released her own skincare brand 9 Skin. However, the shooting prices of the products have expressed their disappointment over the same.
The actress unveiled 5 products under the range of Rs 1000-1500. The nourishing oil is for Rs 999, whereas an anti-ageing serum is priced between Rs 1000-15000. Her fans however expressed their concern in her recent Instagram post with great displeasure. One comment read, “Didn’t expect the price range but seriously why too high … every product above 1k.” Another one commented, “9skin is not a brand… 9thara is tha brand.”

However, some came out of her support, and said, “Sad to see ppl crying on the comments! FYI: Y’all it’s HER page & HER brand launch what the heck do you all expect to see? Moreover if she has acceded an account only for promotion it’s the right thing bc that’s what the main reason of having a page on Gram to PROMOTE their business! O M G insane to see that there’s so much space to grow yet.”
Nayanthara launched her skincare brand on September 14 with a promo video announcing that the products would be on sale from September 29. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Today, we are extremely thrilled to reveal six years of relentless effort and love. We’ve poured our hearts into curating products that are as unique as you are, with formulas that are backed by nature & modern science with nano technology and designed to elevate your self-care routine. Join us on this self love journey and say hello to healthier, glowing skin!”

She also wrote, “We introduce @9SKINOfficial. The labor of Self love you deserve is now brewing to be discovered. Because we believe Self love is all we need. The 9SKIN journey begins on the 29th of September, 2023. Prepare for an amazing skincare experience! (sic).”
