'Panchayat' is one of the most popular web series and is all set to return with its third season. Neena Gupta, who plays the role of Manju Devi in the series, recently revealed how she shot several scenes in the peak summer due to date issues of cast members. She also said that she was complaining to herself about the situation but later accepted it and was okay with things.

In an interview with Mirchi Plus, she said, "I am happiest when I am working. At that time, I am not bothered about sand, 47-degree heat, and all if the work is good. When we did Season 3 of Panchayat, we again shot in peak summer because of date issues of people. We would keep wet cloth on our faces and necks. No matter how many umbrellas you have, when you are getting ready for a shot, before ‘sound’ and ‘action’, some time is taken to get the shot ready."

She added, "In one shot, I was standing under the blazing sun, and the director announced ‘sound, action,’ so the umbrellas were removed. But it took some time to get the shot started, and I was burning. I was complaining to myself, saying, ‘Ye kya hai? (What is this?)’ Then I realized, and this is very important in life, that you can’t run away from this, you have to give the shot. So, accept it, and the moment I did that, I was okay."

'Panchayat Season 3' also stars Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik and Sunita Rajwar. The show focuses on Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate, who becomes a Panchayat secretary in a remote village Phulera of Uttar Pradesh due to a lack of better job options. In the second season, it was revealed that Abhishek has been transferred to a different village. It will release on Prime Video on May 28.
