6 Celebrities Who Died In Plane Crash: On Thursday, Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad. The aircraft sent up massive plume of black smoke after it plunged into the Meghani area of the city. The cause of the crash is not known yet. There were 242 passengers onboard, including two pilots and 10 cabin crew members. According to reports, hundreds of passengers lost their lives in the tragedy. Taruni Sachdev

Taruni Sachdev, who starred alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Paa, died, along with her mother, in a helicopter crash in Nepal near Jomsom Airport. Taruni and her mother died on the former's 14th birthday on May 14, 2012. In her short career, Taruni had done over 50 commercials.

Inder Thakur

Actor, fashion designer and Air India purser Inder Thakur tragically lost his life in the Air India Flight 182 bombing (June 1985). Thakur died serving passengers, showcasing his dedication and grace.

Kobe Bryant

Basketball professional Kobe Bryant died on the morning of January 26, 2020. Bryant died in a tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Along with Kobe, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant and seven other passengers died in the crash.

Soundarya

South Indian actress Soundarya was known for her iconic roles in Ammoru, Pavitra Bandham, Raja and Sooryavansham. Soundarya and her brother died in a helicopter crash in Bengaluru shortly after takeoff. She lost her life at the age of 31 which shook the entire industry.

John F. Kennedy Jr.

America's Prince aka John F. Kennedy Jr. died in a plane crash which he himself was piloting. The tragic incident took place on July 16, 1999 and it claimed the lives of his wife, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her sister, Lauren Bessette.
