Deepika Padukone has officially joined hands with popular South star Allu Arjun and director Atlee for an upcoming science fiction action movie currently titled AA22xA6. The announcement was made on 7th June and has created a huge buzz among fans. This exciting project marks Deepika's second collaboration with director Atlee after her special role in Jawan, and it will be her first time sharing screen space with Allu Arjun. In a special video shared online, fans got a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Deepika reading the script with Atlee, before transforming into her character. Wearing dramatic headgear and dressed in full costume, she confidently stepped onto the set, ready for what looks like a high-action role.

Deepika Padukone joining AA22xA6 announcement was shared by Sun Pictures, the production house backing the movie. They posted the video along with the caption, “The Queen marches to conquer! Welcome onboard @deepikapadukone #TheFacesOfAA22xA6.” The film is being reportedly made on a massive budget of Rs 700 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever. The project promises high-end visual effects and has roped in some of the leading VFX companies from Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, director Atlee expressed his excitement about working with Deepika again. Speaking about her performance in Jawan, he reportedly said, “Collaborating with Deepika Padukone ma’am on Jawan was incredible – her range, power, and grace shine in every frame. She really drives the story. Now, with her and Allu Arjun sir together, we’re creating something unforgettable – it’s a dream combo for any filmmaker.” The production house also said that having Deepika on board brings a new level of impact to the film, thanks to her powerful screen presence and star appeal.

The storyline of AA22xA6 is reportedly set across parallel universes, a concept rarely explored in Indian cinema. With such a huge investment and star-studded cast, AA22xA6 is shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle.
