Aamir Khan recently made headlines after visuals of 25 IPS officials were spotted leaving his home went viral. The clips from his Bandra residence created buzz on the internet. Speculations began, ranging from his upcoming project to the high-security presence. After his team issued a clarification, Aamir has now reacted to the matter. He revealed that the visitors were the current batch of IPS trainees who were visiting Mumbai and wanted to meet him. The Mumbai Police had requested the meeting and he warmly hosted them for dinner.
At a recent Sitaare Zameen Par event, Aamir Khan addressed the most-talked-about video of 25 IPS officials. He said, “They were the current batch of IPS trainees. So they were visiting Bombay, and I got a request from the Mumbai police that they wanted to spend an hour with me. So I hosted them at my house."
His team also gave the same clarification in the matter. "The IPS trainees of the current batch had requested a meeting with him, and Aamir Khan hosted them at his residence," a member from Khan's team shared.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is riding high on the success of Sitaare Zameen Par, which has earned almost Rs 165 crore net in India since its release on June 20. He starred opposite Genelia D'Souza and alongside 10 new faces. Following its successful theatrical run, the actor has chosen to release the film on YouTube movies-on-demand, ensuring it reaches every corner of the world at an accessible price.

He has stuck to his decision of not releasing it on OTT platforms, making it available exclusively on YouTube, starting on August 1, 2025. Fans who missed watching it in cinemas can now access it from the comfort of their homes.
Aamir will be next seen in the biopic, which is based on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
