Abhinav Kashyap has recently become a vocal critic of Salman Khan, an actor he once directed to blockbusting success in Dabangg. In a string of fiery public statements, Abhinav Kashyap has levelled serious accusations, labelling the superstar as "gunda" and "badtameez" while detailing unpleasant experiences from the Dabangg sets. This simmering feud boiled over recently when Salman publicly praised Abhinav's brother, Anurag Kashyap, for his latest movie Nishaanchi.
Abhinav immediately saw the gesture not as a praise but as a calculated move.

Abhinav Kashyap has been criticising the Dabangg star for quite some time now. During a recent interview with Bollywood Thikana, the director openly expressed his thoughts about Salman’s recent praise for Anurag Kashyap. He said, “Salman ki takdeer par likha hai, ab yeh humare hi talve chaatega. Maine ek interview diya tha usko gunda bulaaya tha, toh ab yeh dikha raha hai ki yeh bada prashansak hai humara. Vohi Anurag Kashyap jisko Tere Naam main pereshaan kiya tha. Anurag ne voh film chodhi thi inhone nikala nahi tha. Ab uski tareef karte nazar aarahe hai voh toh karenge. Ab yeh ghutnon pe aayenge, bheek bhi mangenge.”

Talking about the real reason behind Salman’s gesture of praise, Abhinav revealed, “I received an ad on WhatsApp about a flat on the 50th floor of the Burj Khalifa with a clubhouse above it, asking to contact for pricing. So they are searching for ways to silence people like me. And Salman praised Anurag’s film only because he is my brother, hoping he would convince me. That is why he is flattering and sycophantic.”

For the ones who are completely unaware about Salman’s latest praise for Anurag Kashyap, the actor recently posted an Instagram Story to wish the team of Nishaanchi well. He appeared in a video alongside actress Sonakshi Sinha and Vedika Pinto, zooming in on the movie poster. Salman Khan wrote, “Best wishes for the film #Nishaanchi @vedikapinto @aaishvarythackeray @anuragkashyap10 @aslisona”.

If you have been unversed, Abhinav Kashyap and Salman Khan’s feud has become a hot topic for all gossip mongers. Since 2010, when Dabangg was released, the director has accused Salman and his brother Arbaaz Khan of sidelining him during the marketing of the movie. He has also been open about Salman Khan’s family’s aura in the movie industry.
