Actor Ethan Browne Passes Away At 52, Father Jackson Browne Shares Heartbreaking News

Hackers actor, Ethan Browne, son of Jackson Browne, passed away at the age of 52 on November 25. Ethan was an established model and actor who graced the cinema with many iconic roles. The actor was paired with many prominent stars, and his acting was well-received by the audience. His father, Jackson Browne, on November 26, broke the news of his death on his social media, leaving his fans heartbroken.

Ethan Browne’s father, Jackson Browne, in a heartfelt post, wrote, "It is with great sorrow that we share that on the morning of November 25, 2025, Ethan Browne, son of Jackson Browne and Phyllis Major, was found unresponsive in his home and has passed away." Upon the breakout of the news, his fans and well-wishers were left beyond shocked and deeply saddened.

He further added that the family would like some time to mourn the loss and said, "We ask for privacy and respect for the family during this difficult time." The late actor’s family did not disclose any further information about his sudden death.

Ethan Browne's Career

Ethan Browne kick-started his career at a very young age. He started his modelling journey with his first-ever magazine cover shoot in 1974 at just 6 months old. As time passed and Browne honed his skills, it did not take him long to become the face of many renowned brands.

Instead of pursuing a career in civil engineering, Ethan opted to provide for his family and joined the show business. Browne was a part of some of the most loved projects with prominent stars. He worked with Angelina Jolie in 1995 for the movie Hackers. In his movie Raising Helen, released in 2004, he starred alongside Kate Hudson and gathered critical praise for his performance.

Apart from acting and modelling, Ethan followed in his father’s footsteps and launched his own record label, Spinside Records, in 2010. Soon after, the band released their first album, Right Before Your Eyes, in 2022. The actor was last seen in an action movie, Life After Fighting, in 2024.

Talking about his personal life, while Ethan was unmarried, he had a daughter named Aaylah, whose mother’s name was never mentioned. He had her when he was only 16. The actor often took to his Instagram to post about his daughter and shared many cute father-daughter photos.
