Hema Malini, posted her first social media tribute for late legendary actor Dharmendra, three days after his demise. On November 24, the veteran actor passed away in Mumbai at the age of 89. In a heartfelt social media message on Thursday, November 27, the dream girl of Bollywood referred to Dharmendra as her 'everything.' Hema Malini claimed that the void left by Dharmendra's passing would remain for the rest of her life and that her personal sorrow was beyond comprehension. She was left with a myriad memories following years spent together.
Hema Malini, who recalled him with fondness, called him a devoted spouse, father, friend, and mentor. "Dharam Ji. He was many things to me. Loving Husband, adoring Father of our two girls, Esha & Ahaana, Friend, Philosopher, Guide, Poet, my 'go to' person in all times of need - in fact, he was everything to me! And always has been through good times and bad. He endeared himself to all my family members with his easy, friendly ways, always showing affection and interest in all of them," she wrote, alongside some never seen before photos with Dharmendra.
Hema Malini continued by describing how Dharmendra developed close relationships with everyone in her close vicinity. She added, "As a public personality, his talent, his humility in spite of his popularity, and his universal appeal set him apart as a unique icon unequalled among all the legends. His enduring fame and achievements in the film industry will last forever. My personal loss is indescribable and the vacuum created is something that will last through the rest of my life. After years of togetherness, I am left with myriad memories to relive the many special moments…"

Dharmendra, celebrated as Bollywood's He-Man and one of the most adored stars of Hindi cinema. The actor is survived by his first wife Prakash Kaur, their four children, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta, and Vijeta, along with his second wife Hema Malini, and two daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Dharmendra had a lasting impression on Hindi film with his wide range of roles, timeless appeal, and profound impact.
