Yash Raj Films' Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda, which was released on July 18, made a historic record at the box office. Upon its release, the film resonated with the audience, especially the younger generation. It's trending globally on Netflix. Mohit Suri's latest venture depicted the narrative style for which he is known, creating magic with romance. According to reports, Mohit Suri is set to reunite for the second time with YRF for another sweeping romantic film, which is touted to explore new worlds in this genre.

Mohit Suri To Direct Another Romantic Film Under YRF

Mohit Suri is reportedly teaming up with Akshaye Widhani of YRF once again. As per a source quoted by Pinkvilla, informed, "After the historic success of Saiyaara, Mohit Suri and Yash Raj Films are reuniting for the second time. Mohit was flooded with offers from all across the industry, with producers willing to splurge pay cheques of unheard amounts. However, Mohit and YRF are continuing their creative partnership, capitalising on the success of Saiyaara.”

Mohit Suri and YRF's next venture is also going to be a romantic film, but with a new narrative.

“It’s another sweeping romantic film that will explore a brand new world in this genre. Like Saiyaara, Mohit Suri will again make this a musical saga. Mohit & Akshaye are committed to bringing back love stories in conversation among audiences, and Aditya Chopra is also focused on exploring this genre further. After earning rave reviews in theatres, the Ahaan and Aneet starrer premiered on OTT. It is currently streaming on Netflix from September 12. The musical romantic drama tells the story of an aspiring journalist, Vaani and a musician Krish Kapoor, who desires to make it big in the music industry. After collaborating for a song, the two eventually fall in love but soon face obstacles. Besides the main cast- Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film also starred Rajesh Kumar, Shaad Randhawa, Varun Badola and Alam Khan in key roles.
