Ahaan Panday’s Mother Reveals His Terrifying Birth Story, Says He Was As Small As A Rat

Ahaan Panday is one of the few nepo kids who has had a successful debut movie. His collaboration with director Mohit Suri proved to be a huge hit among Bollywood lovers. Ahaan Panday is the nephew of Chunky Panday and the cousin of actress Ananya Panday. He was born to Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday and has an elder sister Alanna. Deanne Panday has appeared in several vlogs of her daughter Alanna, and a few months ago, she shared the birth story of Ahaan Panday in one of Alanna’s vlogs.

Deanne Panday recalled that Ahaan was a premature baby and she was rushed to the hospital for a C-section delivery. She said, “Around 42 days before my due date, my water bag started leaking a little bit. And then it happened again, so we woke up dadi, and she called up a doctor, who said, ‘Take her to the hospital right now’. They did a sonography, all the water had come out by then, and Ahaan was in one corner, curled up.”

She continued, “They took me to an emergency C-section, and when they got Ahaan out, he was as small as a rat. They took him away, and I passed out. When I woke up, I asked, ‘Where is my child?’, and they told me that he’d been taken to the NICU in another hospital. I demanded that they take me there, even though I’d just been stitched up.”

Alanna interrupted her mother and mentioned that Ahaan was transported in a cooler; a thermocol box. She said, “This was back in the day, like 25 years ago. It’s such a filmy story.” Deanne continued to tell that she was under heavy medications and as soon as she woke up, she saw that the doctors had put a stick in Ahaan’s leg as he had suffered a hairline fracture. “At some point, they figured that he had a hairline fracture on his small, little leg. He was so small, like a rat. His thighs were so thin,” she revealed in the vlog.

His mother further stated that she was once watching her son from afar when she noticed that the nurse was feeding Ahaan with milk through a dropper. Deanne immediately asked the nurse to stop. For the next ten days, Deanne stayed in the hospital recovering, and Ahaan stayed in the NICU, and every time he had to be fed, Deanne would come down to the NICU in a wheelchair.
