Aamir Khan, one of Bollywood’s most respected actors, is set to return to the big screen with Sitaare Zameen Par, the much-awaited sequel to the 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par. Known for his powerful performances in films like Dangal, Lagaan, and 3 Idiots among others, Aamir has always balanced commercial success with meaningful storytelling. In this upcoming movie, set to release on 20th June 2025, he takes on a new role as a basketball coach, offering a fresh perspective while continuing the emotional legacy of the original. Starring opposite him is Genelia Deshmukh, adding charm and depth to the story.
Directed by R. S. Prasanna of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan fame, Sitaare Zameen Par promises a heartwarming mix of comedy, drama, and inspiration. The screenplay is written by Divya Nidhi Sharma, noted for her work on Heeramandi and Laapataa Ladies. Music maestros Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy return to create the soundtrack, with lyrics by the acclaimed Amitabh Bhattacharya.
