Akhanda 2 is one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year. Starrig Nandamuri Balakrishna in lead role, Akhanda 2 is all set to hit the theatres on December 5, 2025. The film brings Balakrishna and Boyapati together for their fourth collaboration. Ahead of its release, Akhanda 2 team has delivered an unexpected and disappointing update: the paid premiere shows planned for tonight across India have been abruptly cancelled.
According to the makers, the cancellation stems from technical issues that arose at the last minute, forcing them to call off the screenings that fans had been eagerly looking forward to.
Earlier in the day, widespread reports suggested that 14 Reels Plus might be dealing with financial complications involving Eros International related to their previous projects. Although these reports remain unconfirmed, the sudden cancellation has only intensified the shock and concern among audiences. Fans, movie enthusiasts, and even neutral viewers who were excited to catch Akhanda 2 before the overseas audience are expressing deep disappointment over this development.
