Ali Fazal is one of the few celebrated actors who has managed to impress the audience with his acting range and versatility. From playing decent roles in movies like Fukrey to playing a rowdy ‘gunda’ in Mirzapur, Ali Fazal has proved his mettle in the industry. He has also been a part of several international projects like The Other End Of The Line, Furious 7, Victoria & Abdul, Death On The Nile and many more. The actor has also left a mark in the OTT world by playing the role of Guddu Bhaiya in Mirzapur. Talking about the same, Ali recently expressed his excitement about the upcoming Mirzapur film based on the popular Prime Video series.

Ali Fazal, in a recent interview with Hindi Rush, talked about the Mirzapur movie and said, “We are all very excited and the original cast is coming back for it, and just last week, I heard the script. It’s very nice. It’s going to be a big surprise for everyone.” Talking about the uniqueness of this film, the actor said, “Peaky Blinders has done the same format. They are making a film out of that.” Though Ali didn’t reveal much about the final cast of the film, he shared a brief information about Mirzapur’s fourth season and said, “That (the new season) is still being written because… I don’t know… It will probably be the last season.”

Further, Guddu Bhaiya also expressed his views on the excessive use of foul language and nudity on the OTT platform. He said that there was a time when online web series and movies used sexual references and nudity excessively, but as time has passed, things have settled down. “It just felt like people were venting, but slowly, everything has been normalised. If you are on OTT or elsewhere, the responsibility is on you. Responsible viewing, responsible making, however you define that,” he said.

Mirzapur film is likely to be released in 2026. Apart from Ali Fazal, the cast includes Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Divyenndu and Rasika Dugal in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ali Fazal can be seen in his upcoming movie, Metro In Dino, which is slated to release on July 4, 2025.
