Amitabh Bachchan In Salman Khan's Battle Of Galwan? Director Apoorva Lakhia Clarifies

Battle of Galwan is one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year. The movie stars Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in lead role and is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Recently, there was a buzz that Amitabh Bachchan is a part of upcoming film. This came after the director posted a series of photos of the visit on social media. Now, Apoorva Lakhia has clarified if the legendary actor is a part of Battle of Galwan.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Lakhia revealed that Amitabh Bachchan will not be a part of Battle of Galwan. She said, "No. He was shooting for a commercial in the opposite studio, so I went to meet him and said hello." It is pertinent to note that Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have earlier collaborated on projects like Babul, Baghban and more films.

Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is set to depict the intense 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in Galwan Valley, where soldiers engaged in brutal hand-to-hand combat. The film promises to be a powerful tribute to India's armed forces, bringing this emotionally charged true story to life.

According to Pinkvilla, a source shared, "Salman Khan and the entire crew shot for Battle of Galwan at sub-10 degrees temperature in Ladakh. In fact, the actor battled his physical injuries, braving low oxygen levels and extreme weather conditions."

"The team have shot for some action sequences and dramatic moments at real locations. There have been minor injury concerns for Salman as well, and he will be resting over the next week before returning to the sets for the Mumbai schedule. Around 45 days of the film have been shot at real locations in Ladakh, and Salman Khan was on the sets for 15 days for his part. The second schedule of The Battle of Galwan begins next week in Mumbai," the source further added.

The release date of the film, starring Salman Khan, will be announced soon, though the exact timing remains under wraps. Earlier, a motion poster was unveiled, showcasing Khan in a rugged, battle-hardened role, with a fierce and determined look, hinting at a film centered around valor and national pride.
