Veteran actor Dharmendra has been admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. According to reports, the actor has been in the hospital for 4-5 days now. India Today cited a source saying, "Someone may have spotted him and created a news piece. He is absolutely fine and there’s nothing to be worried about. He is in great spirits and just went for his scheduled tests."
A source close to India TV claimed, "Considering his age, he undergoes several medical tests from time to time, and this visit is just for that. He is absolutely fine, and there’s nothing to be concerned about."
Earlier, this year, the legendary star underwent an eye surgery. A clip of Dharmendra walking out of the hospital went viral, which concerned fans. "I am strong. Abhi bhi Dharmendra mein bahut dum hai. Abhi bhi jaan rakhta hoon. Meri aankh, eye graft (corneal transplantation) ho gayi hai. I am strong. Love you, my audience and my fans," he told paparazzi.
On the professional front, Dharmendra is gearing up for Ikkis, which also stars Agastya Nanda in lead role. The film Ikkis is a war drama recounting the untold true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. He was the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military decoration, which he was awarded posthumously for his sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pak war at the age of just 21.

Agastya Nanda is all set to play Param Vir Chakra recipient Arun Khetrapa in the movie. Khetarpal was the youngest recipient of Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military honour for heroism. Veteran actor Dharmendra, who takes the lead as his father, narrates how as a kid Arun used to listen to his war stories, inspired by which he joined the Army. The movie has been directed by Sriram Raghavan and it also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a pivotal role.
