Archana Kavi Marries Rick Varghese In Intimate Church Ceremony Four Years After Divorce From Abish Mathew | PHOTOS

Malayalam actor and social media influencer Archana Kavi has tied the knot with entrepreneur Rick Varghese in an intimate and heartwarming church ceremony held on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The ceremony, attended by close friends and family, was a serene and joyous affair. Archana looked radiant in a traditional saree, while Rick complemented her in a simple yet elegant ethnic outfit. The couple exchanged vows in a beautifully decorated church surrounded by their loved ones. This marks Archana’s second marriage. The actress was previously married to comedian and YouTuber Abish Mathew in 2016. However, the couple amicably parted ways in 2021 after five years of marriage.

The wedding pictures were shared by television host Dhanya Varma, who posted photos and videos from the event on Instagram, expressing her happiness with the caption, “And my darling is married. Archana Kavi and Rick Varghese.” Although Archana has yet to make an official announcement on her own social media accounts, she had hinted at the wedding earlier through an Instagram Story that read, “I found the best man during tough times, and I hope everyone finds theirs too.” The message, filled with gratitude and affection, now feels like a touching prelude to her big day.

Meanwhile, in a recent conversation with Dhanya Varma, Archana revealed that she met Rick Varghese through a dating app while her home was under construction in Kannur. “I was on the app just to pass the time and had no plans to date anyone seriously,” she said. “But with him, right from the start, our conversations were deep and meaningful. It felt like some other force had brought us together.” She went on to share that honesty and emotional connection were key to their bond. “I told him everything about my past, even my flaws and insecurities, to see if he could handle it. With Rick, his words and actions always matched, and that’s what made him special,” she added. Archana also spoke about the importance of emotional understanding and mental health in relationships.

For those unfamiliar, Archana Kavi is a Malayalam film actress, YouTuber, and television host who made her acting debut with Lal Jose’s 2009 film Neelathamara. She later appeared in films like Mummy & Me, Salt N’ Pepper, Pattam Pole, and Once Upon a Time There Was a Kallan. She has also acted in Tamil and Telugu films such as Aravaan and Backbench Student. Little is publicly known about Rick Varghese, but reports describe him as a Kochi-based entrepreneur with experience in the media and creative industries.
