Rishi Kapoor’s demise at the age of 67 sent shockwaves through the entire film fraternity, along with millions of fans. After battling his cancer for two years, the actor passed away in a Mumbai hospital on April 30, 2020. The actor, who captivated people’s hearts with his ever-charming looks and amazing acting skills, passed away some days after actor Irrfan Khan left the world. Several netizens and loved ones poured their heart out on social media to show support and love during his battle with cancer.
Farah Khan, who recently visited Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor’s house, recounted an emotional call with the star. Farah Khan was out on the streets of Delhi and visited Riddhima Kapoor’s home with her cook Dilip. During her vlog, the choreographer recalled an emotional call with the late actor Rishi Kapoor and told Riddhima that she broke down while talking to him on the phone.
“I remember when I got the news, I called Chintu and started crying on the phone, and he was so positive, he kept saying, ‘are chup beth yaar hota rehta hai, kuch nahi hai, main theek hojaaunga (Hey, calm down, yaar. These things happen, it’s nothing, I’ll be fine),’” she exclaimed.

The filmmaker also shared an incident from old times during a shoot with Rishi Kapoor for a movie. Farah Khan revealed that once she gave it back to Rishi Kapoor when he tried to intimidate her. Farah mentioned, “The last film that Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) did as a hero, Hum Dono, was one of my first movies as a choreographer. He tried to bully me left and right. Then I had to give it back to him. And once you do that, he’s fine. Plus, he worked with my dad in Raffuchakkar.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Farah Khan recently choreographed a song titled Gafoor for Aryan Khan’s debut web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The song featured Tamannaah Bhatia in a sizzling and glamorous look, and soon it went viral for its peppy beats and unique choreography. On the other hand, Riddhima Kapoor is all set to make her debut as an actress alongside Kapil Sharma in a comedy movie. Reportedly, her mother Neetu Kapoor can also be a part of the project.
