This year, many interesting web series and movies were released that left a mark on the audience. From The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, Kantara 2, Paatal Lok 2, Special Ops 2, Sitaare Zameen Par to The Family Man 3, there were a bunch of projects that were much-anticipated and lived up to the expectations perfectly upon their release. Every year, IMDb comes out with a list of such movies and web series that win the most hearts. This year, topping the list were Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s movie Saiyaara which topped the list of Most Popular Indian Movies of 2025, while Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds Of Bollywood earned the top spot in the list of Most Popular Indian Web Series. Aryan Khan made his directorial debut with The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. The web show was released on September 18 and topped IMDb's list of most popular Indian series this year with flying colours. It was well-received by the audience and was loved for its sharp humour, playful digs and iconic cast. Aryan Khan received critical acclaim for his vision as a director and for offering a fresh and entertaining trope.

IMDb’s List of Most Popular Indian Movies 2025
Saiyaara (Netflix)
Mohit Suri directed romantic movie Saiyaara, which was released on July 18, became a n overnight sensation. Ahaan Panday made his big Bollywood debut with it, alongside actress Aneet Padda. The movie received so much appreciation and applause from the audience that it topped the IMDb list of Most Popular Indian movies of 2025. The romantic drama not only managed to win hearts but also set the box office on fire with a massive collection of around Rs 570 crores worldwide.
While Ahaan and Aneet gave strong performances, the songs of the movie also stole many hearts. Saiyaara stood tall at the theatres and became the highest-grossing indian romantic film of all time as well. It also became the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025.
