TV actress Dipika Kakar, who was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer in May this year, has been keeping fans updated about her health through her YouTube vlogs. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, stood beside her like a pillar of support throughout her journey. Even her fans around the world offered prayers and wished her luck for recovery. After undergoing the surgery to remove the small tumour, Dipika has been dealing with the side effects of targeted oral therapy since then. In a recent emotional vlog, she shared a new health concern and apprised her fans about the excessive hair fall she has been experiencing.

Dipika Kakar, in her recent YouTube video, shared that she has gotten used to the side effects of her treatment. But one major thing that bothered her was the extreme hairfall. The TV actress revealed that she preferred staying quiet for 10-15 minutes after taking a bath, as the hairfall is too much to handle for her.

The Sasural Simar Ka actress mentioned, “I have rested the whole day today because I was very low. The side effects are there, but I have become very used to it now. Just the hairfall is very scary.Bahut zayada baal gir rahe hai. Main jab nahake aati hun, main 10-15 min chup rehti hun, kisi se baat nahi karti, because hairfall is a lot. That is very fearful for me.”

Further, stating that her medical reports are normal, she said, “I have already shared my reports in Shoaib’s vlog. Jo reports humne 3 mahine ke baad ke tumour marker ke tests kiye aur LFT wagera kiya, voh sab normal aaya hai. Tumour marker were very normal so doctor advised not to do the FAPI Scan right now but after 2 months. So that’s about it.” Dipika also mentioned that due to the changing weather, her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim has not been keeping well.

For the unversed, actress Dipika, who is known for portraying the popular role of Simar in the TV serial Sasural Simar Ka, was diagnosed with liver cancer in May this year, when she visited the hospital for stomach pain. Her simple visit got transformed into a life-changing diagnosis. The actress shared the saddening news via her Instagram stories. On the work front, Dipika was last seen in Celebrity MasterChef. However, she had to quit the show midway after she injured her arm due to excessive physical activity.
