Veteran actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who recently did a stint on the reality show Bigg Boss 18, shared a health update. She has tested positive for COVID-19 and informed her fans on social media. The actress urged everyone to wear masks.

Taking to Instagram, Shilpa posted, "Hello People! I've been tested positive for COVID. Stay safe and wear your masks! - Shilpa Shirodkar" Soon after her post, fans and industry members showed their concern about her health in the comments section. Actress Sonakshi Sinha wrote, "Oh god!!! Take care shilpaaa… speedy recovery." Deanne Panday commented, "It’s on the air .. a lot getting it .. mask on most important.. get well soon my darling." Indira Krishna posted, "take care dear recover soon.." One user posted, ".whatt....Ohhh ma'am...plzzz tak care...be careful." Fans prayed for her speedy recovery.

Shilpa Shirodkar's Filmy Journey
She is the younger sister of former actress and wife of Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar. Shilpa made her debut in Bollywood with Ramesh Sippy's directorial Bhrashtachar in 1989. She shared screen space with Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha in the movie. Her other movie credits include Kishen Kanhaiya, Hum, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan and many other commercially successful films. In her career, she has collaborated with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and many others.
Now, she is gearing up for Jatadhara, a story which is penned and directed by Venkat Kalyan. The movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sudheer Babu Posani, Rain Anjali, and Divya Vij.
