Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12: Kichcha Sudeep will return as the host of Bigg Boss Kannada for the upcoming 12th season, much to the pleasure of the viewers. For those who are unaware, the Kannada actor made a public announcement last year that he would be leaving his position as host following the eleventh season. He was a crucial component of Bigg Boss Kannada's character for 11 seasons since he contributed an empathic presence to the show, always advising contestants and interacting with viewers.

Bigg Boss Kannada will be hosted by Kichcha Sudeep for four more seasons. The organisers made the announcement at a press conference on June 30, 2025. "The show must go on. We need to think from the perspective of the fans who loves me as the host of the show," the actor said.

Kichcha Sudeep has agreed to a new 4-year deal with the Bigg Boss Kannada producers. Sudeep would continue to host the show from season 12 to season 15, stated a report by OTT Play. Even while there was speculation that the Max actor would impose a number of requirements before returning to hosting, Kichcha Sudep has actually just made one significant requirement. "They wanted it to start at a certain date, and I have requested them to push it ahead by 3-4 weeks, as I am committed to trying and ensuring that I have a film release in 2025. Billa Ranga Baashaa is ongoing and another project will be announced shortly," claimed the report.

Kichcha Sudeep's exit at the end of Season 11 saddened his supporters and discussions over who could take his place flooded on social media platforms. The actor, who was well-known for his witty one-liners and ability to relate to competitors, returned to represent the Kannada adaptation of the series. Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 anticipation is at an all-time high now that his return is official. It is anticipated that the show will debut later this year.

The actor-director team is back following the release of the investigative action thriller Vikrant Rona (2022). Produced by Primeshow Entertainment, the same company that made the popular Telugu superhero film HanuMan, Billa Ranga Baasha is marketed as a futuristic action drama. There are a lot of rumours that Sudeep would also work with filmmaker Vijay Kartikeyaa, who he collaborated with on the popular action thriller Max (2024).
