Bigg Boss Kannada 11: Kichcha Sudeep, who has been the iconic face of Bigg Boss Kannada for over a decade, has revealed that season 11 will be his final run as the host. The actor took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to make the announcement, thanking fans for their support throughout the years.

In his heartfelt post, Sudeep shared, “Thank you all for the great response shown towards #BBK11. The TVR (number) speaks volumes about the love you all have shown towards the show and me. It's been a great 10 years of travel together, and it's time for me to move on with what I need to do.” He further added, “This will be my last season as a host for BBK, and I truly believe that my decision will be respected by my Colors family and all those who have followed BB all these years. Let’s make this season the best, and I, too, shall entertain you all to my best. Luv & Hugs. Thank you all for this.”

Sudeep has been the face of Bigg Boss Kannada since the show's debut in 2013. Over the years, he hosted all its seasons, including the mini edition in 2021 and the OTT version in 2022. His final season, Bigg Boss Kannada 11, premiered on September 29, 2024, with the theme "Heaven and Hell." Fans were left emotional by his announcement, with many pleading for him to reconsider.

One fan commented, "Please don't leave Bigg Boss, it's my sincere request. I can't even imagine #BBK without you, boss." Another fan likened his departure to a major moment in cricket, stating, "If we have to describe this in IPL terms, it's more like Virat Kohli leaving RCB."

However, some fans appreciated his decision, with one stating, "The decision is most appreciated, Anna! Let's focus on movies." On the work front, Kichcha Sudeep has several exciting projects lined up. He will be starring in Billa Ranga Baasha, directed by Anup Bhandari, which is set in the year 2209 AD. The film’s concept video was unveiled last month on the occasion of Sudeep’s 51st birthday, creating a buzz among his fans. The movie is expected to be released in multiple languages. Additionally, Sudeep will also feature in a project titled Max, although details about the film are yet to be disclosed.
