The controversy has also extended outside the Bigg Boss house. Kushala, president of the Kushala Kalavrunda, has reportedly filed a complaint with Karnataka State Commission for Women against Manja over remarks he allegedly made against Soundarya during a task.
According to Vijaya Karnataka Web, the publication obtained a copy of the complaint. It raises concerns over Manja's alleged use of objectionable and threatening language.

The incident reportedly took place during the first captaincy task of Bigg Boss Kannada 13.
The contestants were given several tasks as part of the competition. The first stage involved selecting pilots.
During a task called Kangavalu (Surveillance), Soundarya Shetty reportedly slapped Manja on the cheek during the game.
Manja reacted strongly to the incident and reportedly said, "Even my parents have never raised a hand against me. Who are you to do that? I'll crush you. Your bones will be broken into pieces."
Bigg Boss then intervened to calm the situation.
Soundarya later apologised for the incident, which reportedly happened during the task. While the physical confrontation was addressed inside the house, Manja's alleged remarks have now become the subject of a complaint.
