BLACKPINK have made history by becoming the first girl group to ever perform at London’s world-famous Wembley Stadium. The four-member group – Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa joined the ranks of legendary artists like Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, BTS and Oasis, who have also played at the venue. On Friday and Saturday, the group performed in front of nearly 78,000 fans each night. The concerts were part of their DEADLINE World Tour, which has already seen huge success across the US and Europe.
Lisa shared her excitement with the audience and stated, “What an absolute honour to be performing here at Wembley Stadium. We’re absolutely in awe of you guys for showing up and making this possible.” Jennie added, “It’s an epic dream. And it still feels a little unreal.” Rosé agreed, describing the show as being on “a whole other level” compared to their last London appearance. Meanwhile, the two-and-a-half-hour shows were packed with fireworks, lasers, and giant video screens so fans could see every detail. BLACKPINK performed many of their biggest hits, including Kill This Love, How You Like That, Pink Venom, Shut Down, Whistle and DDU-DU DDU-DU. They also gave fans a special treat by debuting their brand-new single Jump, which recently set a YouTube record with 26 million views in just one day.

The members kept the atmosphere lively by interacting with fans, joking, and even laughing at small on-stage moments. At one point, Rosé had to stop mid-song to tie her shoelace, a moment that quickly went viral online. Despite each member having successful solo projects, their chemistry on stage showed exactly why BLACKPINK remain one of the most loved groups in the world.
What’s Next For BLACKPINK?
The Wembley concerts marked the end of the European leg of the DEADLINE World Tour. The tour, which began in July in South Korea, includes 31 concerts across 16 cities. After their London shows, the group is taking a short two-month break before resuming in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 18 October. They will then visit more countries including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong in 2026. BLACKPINK have already set records as the first female K-pop group to sell over a million albums and continue to break touring records, previously overtaking the Spice Girls with their Born Pink tour.

New Album Rumours
Alongside their tour, rumours are spreading that BLACKPINK are preparing to release a new mini album later this year. Industry insiders suggest the release was originally planned for October but may now be moved to November. Reports claim the members have already completed a photoshoot for the album cover and are finishing recordings over the next couple of months. While nothing has been confirmed, their agency YG Entertainment commented that they would share updates at a later date. If true, fans could have even more to look forward to before the year ends, a brand-new BLACKPINK album to go with their record-breaking world tour.
