BTS Suga, also known as Min Yoongi and August D, recently achieved a big milestone in his career, just a few days before his military discharge on June 21. The Kpop star’s 12 songs as a soloist have surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. The achievement comes after his song Burn It from the 2020 album D-2 has over 100 million streams on Spotify. His songs, which reached century streams on Spotify, are- Eight, Daechwita, Blueberry Eyes, Trivia: Seesaw, Interlude Shadow, Suga’s Interlude, People, Girl Of My Dreams, That That, People pt 2, Hauegum, Lilith (Diablo IV), So Far Away, Burn It.

Well, Suga’s 2020 album D-2 has 10 songs, including Moonlight, Daechwita, What Do You Think?, Strange, 28, Burn It, People, Honsool, Interlude: Set Me Free and Dear My Friend. It was a commercial hit album, which ranked at number 11 on the Billboard 200, number 7 on the Official UK Chart and number 2 on the ARIA chart. Thus, the album set three new records as the highest-ranking mixtape in the US, UK and Australia by a Korean soloist. Now, years later, August D’s Burn It from the album has set a record on Spotify, bringing a big achievement to the star. The album has three songs which has over 100 million streams on the platform, including Burn It, People and Daechwita.

ARMYs on social media have pondered with their best wishes to their Kpop idol. A user said, “#AgustD/#SUGA ties as the Korean Rapper with MOST songs surpassing 100 MILLION streams on Spotify (12 as a soloist)! — Yoongi now has 14 songs overall hitting this milestone! CONGRATULATIONS AGUST D CONGRATULATIONS SUGA #BurnIt100M.”

Another said, “This song owns the crowd CONGRATULATIONS AGUST D #BurnIt100M.” A tweet read, “Burn it is fire CONGRATULATIONS AGUST D.”

Notably, BTS Suga is set to be discharged from the mandatory Korean military service on June 21, 2025. His fellow mates from the BTS have already been discharged, V, Jimin, Jungkook and RM, earlier this month. Last year, Jin and Jhope were discharged from the military services. Soon, ARMY will witness the much-awaited reunion of the popular South Korean band BTS.
