Actor Chunky Panday was recently seen in two projects - the popular web series The Royals and the movie Detective Sherdil. The actor is currently happy with his pace, but he is happier that he got the chance to explore the romantic track with popular actress Sakshi Tanwar in The Royals. He recently said that he is glad to be a part of the show as there are very less projects that explore the concept of love for older generations.

Chunky Panday was recently asked about his chemistry with co-star Sakshi Tanwar in The Royals, and according to a report in Hindustan Times, the actor expressed that he was really awkward with her and confessed that he has always been a big fan of her work. The star also mentioned, “Romance is not my best cup of tea.”

Ananya Panday’s father also explained, “I struggled a bit there, but the director was a lady, the DOP was a lady and even the producer, so there was a lot of women energy on the set and they kind of got that romance out of me. But I admit I'm not good at it.”

Talking about people’s reaction, he said that while the audience found his romance sweet, his wife Bhavana Pandey had a completely different reaction. He explained his wife’s reaction and mentioned, “A lot of people told me I looked sweet, but my wife was laughing when she was seeing me in that show. She couldn’t imagine me being romantic. My wife is always very critical of my work, so that's fine. It's actually a good thing.”

Chunky Panday was recently seen dancing with his daughter Ananya Panday on a stage at an award show. Discussing the performance, he revealed that Ananya’s tribute to him was a big surprise. The star said that it felt like achieving a lifetime award. He expressed his excitement and said, “She started talking about someone who made her laugh since she was a child. So, I asked my wife who's she talking about? She said maybe Shah Rukh Khan. So, I presumed she was going to do something for SRK. Then she burst into a Neelam song which was from one of my films, so I thought maybe she's doing a tribute to Neelam. And then suddenly it turned into all my songs, and I got so excited.”
