Deepika Padukone has been making headlines after the makers of Kalki 2898 AD sequel announced her exit and stated that the film deserves more commitment. Earlier this year, she also lost Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit due to her 8-hour shift demand, high pay cheque and more. It might seem a difficult time for the actress, who embraced motherhood last year, but Deepika’s recent announcement turned out to be a complete joy for her admirers. Deepika Padukone has collaborated for the sixth time with Shah Rukh Khan in his much-awaited film, King. The actress shared a post holding hands with SRK, while she mentioned the learnings that she received from the superstar.

Deepika Padukone wrote on Instagram, “The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago, while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success. I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I’ve made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together? #king #day1.” She tagged Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Siddharth Anand in the post.
Fans in the comment section expressed their utmost joy for the actress’s new project. A user said, “May you be the best always , no downturn can touch you.” Another wrote, “Favourites.” A comment read, “King and Queen.” A fan said, “Queen's power.”
