The debate surrounding Deepika Padukone's eight-hour shift demand for a shoot, is unending. It all started after the B'town actress was ousted from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming movie Spirit over her requests for an eight-hour shift. Though Deepika received support from the industry, some even denied with her 'unreal' demand. Recently, filmmaker Suneel Darshan shared his thoughts on Padkukone's eight-hour work day request. Here is what he said.

While speaking with news agency IANS, Darshan said, "The producer should first take from her in writing that for the 8 hours she is on the set, she will be giving shots. Instead of 8 if she even gives shots for 4 hours, the producer will touch her feet in gratitude."

"There was a time when Deepika was not a part of the industry. You will be able to find several new talents," she further added.

Deepika Padukone has been roped in for Atlee's next big-budget movie AA22xA6. The film also stars Allu Arjun in lead role. Deepika made an announcement via her Instagram handle. She wrote in the caption, "The Queen marches to conquer! The post received immense love from fans, as evident from the comments section. A user wrote, "That's the queen of bollywood deepika Padukone for y'all," another one commented, "She asked for better working conditions since she has a kid to look after too. She asked for profits share becoz she is confident in her talent and the movie. She didn't ask for any outrageous thing like babysitting fees or anything. As a woman, I don't feel its injustice that she asked for those - if she has asked anything else to finance her personal decisions and choices it may had made more sense," a netizen wrote, "Guess who's crying now.
