AA22xA6: Allu Arjun, fresh from the roaring success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, is all set to take his stardom global. The actor, who has become one of India’s biggest crowd-pullers, is now collaborating with Jawan director Atlee for an upcoming mega-project, currently titled AA22xA6. This marks a powerful collaboration between the star of India’s biggest post-pandemic hit and one of South cinema’s most successful directors. And now, in a fresh development, Rashmika Mandanna has joined has joined Pushpa actor yet again for this upcoming movie.

Rashmika Mandanna, according to a report by Pinkvilla, will play a bold, never-seen-before role in Atlee’s ambitious project. “Rashmika Mandanna has come on board Atlee’s ambitious film. The actress will be seen in one of the most daring roles of her career. The dynamics of Rashmika and Allu will be very different from what they shared in Pushpa franchise,” the report shared. It’s been reported that Rashmika has already completed her look test and body scan with the director in Los Angeles, and pre-production work is in full swing.

Meanwhile, the movie is being positioned as a global cinematic experience, with plans to rival some of Hollywood’s most visually stunning films. Atlee is said to be creating an Avatar-like world, with the story unfolding in two separate universes. The ensemble cast already includes Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur, making it one of the biggest casting line-ups in recent Indian cinema. The film is being made on a massive budget under Sun Pictures and is expected to release in late 2026 or 2027. It will hit cinemas in multiple global languages, turning it into a true pan-world release.

While shooting for the movie is already underway, post-production will happen alongside filming. “The idea is to have post-production work going on in tandem with the shoot, for the actors to know the output. The team is committed to make a global project, and the release date will be announced with a heavy on visual promo soon,” the report concluded.
